The EN1433-2002 standard-Classification, Design and Test Requirements, Labeling and Conformity Assessment of Drainage Channels for Vehicles and Pedestrian Areas was published in November 2003. It is a standard for the linear finished drainage channel for outdoor drainage and suitable for drainage in the road infrastructure, petrochemical industry, agriculture, food stand (gasoline and cleaning) and the like, by which the design requirements of the load-bearing grade of the product usage field are clearly defined to facilitate the design, test and definition of the finished drainage channel. All MEA finished resin concrete drainage channel is manufactured in accordance with the manufacturing requirements of Appendix ZA in EN1433, and all channeles are provided with CE marks.
In design, the Designer needs to select the appropriate load-bearing grade of the installation area. Six load-bearing grades of the installation area are defined in the standard, A15-F900:
Pedestrians/Cyclists

Car parking

Heavy goods vehicles
Roadsides/Verges

Carriageways
highways/roads

Industrial areas

Other Special areas
such as airports
